Wilderness First Aid

This 2 day program covers all of IFAK Life Saver, but more in depth from the perspective of extended care times or the lack of available emergency services. You will also learn about bones, burns, environmental injuries, wilderness survival and emergency preparedness. Casualty evacuation and how to signal for help are also covered with hands-on training. This class was designed for the outdoors and remote care areas – including your home when emergency medical services can’t get there fast enough! Class concludes with hands-on scenarios utilizing role players and realistic moulage to simulate real-world situations, and day 2 is taught completely in the field (outdoors) regardless of the weather conditions.

**You will receive a 2 year American Red Cross certification through this class.**
